Week 31 - The recent hot weather has made pools pretty popular.
Week 31 - We've had some good rains during the past few weeks. Perhaps this is what has caused some toadstools to poke up where trees once grew.
Week 30 - This week the local high school band was holding their band camp in preparation for the upcoming football season.

Week 29 - This was the week that judges visited our community to look over our flowers that were planted for the "America In Bloom" contest.
Week 29 - One day this week, in conjunction with the America in Bloom contest, we were invited to a picnic at a business that provides flowers for nurseries and retail stores across the country.
Week 28 - Early this week we were struck with a quick storm that moved through the area taking down several trees and branches.

Week 26 - The Youth Band representing the local Lions Club District performed a concert prior to their trip to Seattle to participate in the International Lions Convention.
Week 26 - A group of local farmers invited urban dwellers to visit their farm to see what life was like on a farm. Many of the kids had an opportunity to feed some calves.

Week 25 - This weekend we were having 15 high school basketball players stay with us while they were at a neighboring camp. Each evening their laundry needed to be done for the next day.
Week 25 - "Do you see that branch way over there? When I leave this nest I'm going to fly clear over there like my Mom." This week our birds left their nest.

Week 22 - While we were at an outdoor open house a ultra-light pilot flew over performing several stunts as a salute to us.
